WISCONSIN ASSOCIATION
OF
COMMUNITY THEATRE’S FIRST FASTFEST
WACT is excited to announce something new for the off-year event – a FASTFEST! FastFest is a festival with 20 minute (maximum) plays with minimum props and set. Verona Area Community Theater will sponsor the event on March 14, 2026 and will provide a table and 4 chairs. Theaters may bring one additional set piece or prop. These performances will not be adjudicated but instead there will be a moderator who leads discussion after each performance. This is a great opportunity for new playwrights and theater companies to try out new material. More information will be coming soon, but it’s time to start planning your entry into the festival!

Now is the time to renew your membership in the Wisconsin Association of Community Theatre. Support community theatre in Wisconsin. The more memberships we have the more we can serve you and your community theatre. Please consider joining now. If you have not been a member you don’t know what. You are missing.
Memberships run from August 1 to July 31, which means your membership is about to expire. Individual memberships are $15.00 for an individual or $50.00 for your organization. It is very simple to renew – go to WACT.org – download and print the Membership Form – fill it out and mail to WACT, P.O. Box 930231, Verona, Wisconsin 53593 along with your membership check.
